A weatherboard Victorian house, framed by its own garden.

In this series of work I explored architecture & nature. Places where the light has an impressionistic quality, where shadows are full of color. Some of my references come from Google Street View, there’s an indifference to its lens that makes it a good source. These are also places I’ve never actually stood in, like New Zealand. There's something about that distance that keeps the place a little imaginary.

I believe a drawing is an object before it’s an image. Something made by hand on paper that has weight and grain. That’s why every artwork here is an original.
